Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

(Matthew 5:16)

Our Vision:

To be a Beacon of Hope to the Bighorn Valley through the LOVE and POWER of Jesus Christ.  (Matthew 5:14-16)

Our Mission:

  • To provide worship experiences for our membership and for the greater Christian community in and around Fort Smith, MT, that celebrate the Lordship of Jesus Christ and encourage the believers.

  • To introduce our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ to as many persons in and around Fort Smith as possible, through as many methods as feasible, for the goal of leading them to salvation in Jesus Christ.

  • To disciple believers and to mature them to the point where they recognize and utilize their spiritual gifts and serve God through the ministry of the church, through specials ministries they are led to begin or participate in, and through their secular occupation and involvements.

  • To educate believers by imparting to them knowledge from the Bible, from church history, and from Christian books and study material, in order to help them understand their positions as ministers of reconciliation for Jesus Christ.

  • To minister to the Church and to the community by encouraging, helping, loving, establishing friendships, visiting and socializing, and seeking to understand each other.

  • To minister to the physical needs of both the church members and the citizens of Fort Smith and surrounding areas.

  • To participate in and support mission endeavors of our church and/or the Montana Southern Baptist Convention and the Southern Baptist Convention.

Our Beliefs:

We believe that the Bible is the only source of authority for all matters of faith and practice, and is the infallible, inerrant, inspired Word of God.  We subscribe to the doctrinal statements in The Baptist Faith and Message <http://www.sbc.net/bfm2000/bfm2000.asp> as adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention in 2000, with one exception in Section VII, "Baptism and the Lord's Supper."  We welcome any visitor to our church who is a Christian to join us is proclaiming "the Lord's death until he comes."  (1 Corinthians 11:26)

our pastor:
